है बहुत अँधियार अब सूरज निकलना चाहिए

जिस तरह से भी हो ये मौसम बदलना चाहिए

रोज़ जो चेहरे बदलते हैं लिबासों की तरह

अब जनाज़ा ज़ोर से उन का निकलना चाहिए

अब भी कुछ लोगो ने बेची है न अपनी आत्मा

ये पतन का सिलसिला कुछ और चलना चाहिए

फूल बन कर जो जिया है वो यहाँ मसला गया

ज़ीस्त को फ़ौलाद के साँचे में ढलना चाहिए

छीनता हो जब तुम्हारा हक़ कोई उस वक़्त तो

आँख से आँसू नहीं शो’ला निकलना चाहिए

He says that it has been too much of dark now, a sun must come out, inn whatsoever way but the weather must change. Those who keep on changing faces every day, now their tenure must end with a loud final procession (regarding corrupt practices in politics as well as society). There are people who have still not sold out their inner self/soul/conscious, and this queue need to be longer. All those lived like a flower (pious hearts), have been ruined/crushed, life must be made of iron. When someone snatches your rights then, there must be fire in your eyes rather than tears.
