Kabir/a the real Saint

Important note: Those who do not know about Saint Kabir/a, if you type this on Google, please keep in mind that there has been a movie released last year with this name and that has nothing to do with the Saint Kabir in any given way.

Well Friends!!

I want to say or writ so many things about him or his teachings but I do not know where to start and where to stop.

For so many days I want to write, open my computer and start thinking about him, remember his songs or poems and get lost into them, just enjoy all that myself and then end up with the two lines of the song from the amazing movie “three idiots” — Confusion hi confusion hai, solution kuchh pata nahi. Answer jo mila to sala question kya tha pata nahi. ;P 😀 these lines mean– it is too much of confusion that I do not know the solution and if I find some answer, by that time I forget the question itself 😛 😦 😀

But I must say that he was so amazing that the very next day I again find all the solutions with the teachings of Kabir/a.

Now we will go through some of his sayings today–

It says everyone remembers God in pain and none does that in pleasure

If you do remember him while you are happy, sadness will never touch you

This was his faith in God or I must say it was the supreme power which connects the entire universe, he believed in, not the worldly God as we follow.

it means– I went out in search of bad people, but find none

When I searched my own heart, there was none worse than me.

But he wants to say here that if we can search the bad habits of our own, and can see goof things in others then there will not be any bad person or bad thing on earth.

it means– If something is big like the Date tree, then what is big in that?

It can not even give shadow to the passers by and fruits are also so far

He conveys that if any one is a big person in the real sense then he must be able to and willing to do something good to others or live for the Human/social welfare otherwise having name or money or power doesn’t make anyone big.

If you wanna d something tomorrow, do it today and if you wanna do something today do it now, when will the havoc/death come none knows and everything will then be left undone.

Means do your work on time otherwise the life is limited and you will not be able to fulfill your dreams if you keep putting it on next time, so just d what you want and go ahead, do not waste much of your time in thinking.

means- when you speak, speak so sweetly that others get lost and have to listen to you

It must favour you and must be for the welfare of others, so everyone is happy 🙂

Tension/depression is such a bad thing that takes your heart/peace of mind away

Even doctors have no medicines for this problem, as it is endless

therefore never worry about everything and only the change is permanent here and rest is all bound to happen which is out of your control, so just do waht you can while being rationale.

The world has gone mad while reading so many books, but none became a great person

Rather those who could understand the meaning of a small word “love” became great

So do not remain in pride and be polite and love the man kind and learn from nature, you will understand everything under the sky.

Friends this will continue in the next few posts–

  1. Good compilation! I always used to get confused with “ऐसी बानी बोलिए, मन का आपा खोए” as it appeared that “आपा खोए” meant “losing temper” and so I used to wonder why is Kabir teaching everyone to speak (harsh words) so listeners lose temper! 😉
