    The scene is very beautiful. It’s strange how something so beautiful and picturesque has the power to destroy when it overflows.

      True… That is why it’s a saying in India that “ati sarvatra varjayate” means where ever or whatever crosses the limit or becomes over it’s prohibited otherwise dangerous and destructive. Like when pride/self respect crosses the limit and become ego And destroys the person while ruining the peace of family as well and also as. You said the beautiful calm water flow also ruins everything when gets overflow.
